Yay to helping sick kids smile

The joy of giving back

Starlight Children's Foundation

Helping Starlight Shine

Bringing joy and light to the lives of sick children has always been hugely important to all of us at Cashrewards. In fact, giving back is one of our core values.

Cashrewards founders, Andrew and Lorica Clarke, experienced the important work of The Starlight Children's Foundation firsthand, when their son was sick and hospitalised. This is why, in 2014 when they created Cashrewards, it was an obvious choice to make Starlight their charity partner.

Giving back. It’s what we were made to do.

Since partnering up, we've donated over

$2 million,

helping over

50,000 sick kids

Cashrewards and Starlight:
the journey so far

It’s been a wonderfully rewarding journey so far, with many incredible moments along the way. Our staff have gone above and beyond to raise funds by participating in Starlight events and challenges, raising the profile of this awesome organisation whenever we can. We have big plans for the future so watch this space.

Some highlights include:

2023 Starlight events

Joyathon fundraising event

In 2023 we launched Joyathon; our very first Cashrewards company-wide fundraising event, with the aim of collectively exercising the distance of the circumference of Australia.

In this challenge, the Cashrewards team walked, ran, swam, and cycled to raise money for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

During the month of May 2023, we covered a distance of 12,530 km and raised $21,657 for Starlight. With the money raised we helped over 844 sick kids.

Bring on Joyathan 2024!
